Helpful hints
For greatest accuracy, measure with your rods in place. It is recommended that you place your rod 4 inches above the window glass so that the hooks and pleats cannot be seen from outside Always use a yardstick or metal measuring tape, not a cloth tape when measuring.
Draperies/Curtains
Width
For all Drapery products there are only two width measurements you need:

Mini Blinds and Roller Shades
Inside Mount
Measure the width (A in image) of opening at top, middle and bottom of your window opening. Use the smallest measurement when ordering. The factory has already deducted 1/2 inch (1/4 inch on each side) to insure proper fit with the brackets. Measure the height (B in image) of the opening on left, center and right, use the smallest measurement when ordering
Outside mount
Measure the exact width and height of the area to be covered and provide the exact dimensions required. (It is recommended that blinds overlap the window at least 1.5 inches on each side and for length (D in image), add 3-4β above the frame and 2β below the frame.) If you already have brackets mounted, be sure that you measure form the outside edge to include the brackets(C in image). Do not measure inside the brackets or your blind width will be to short. Be sure that when you mount your brackets that they are beyond the casing and clear any obstructions (i.e. window cranks, trim work, ect.)
