Functional Tension Rod

I ordered this little rod to hold a few cook books in place on my counter. I placed the cookbooks next to a wall and then placed the rod next to the cookbooks and tighten it between the underside of the cabinet and the countertop, and it keeps my books standing up nice and straight. The rod works great
